City council to discuss budget at work session

Salem — City councilors will discuss next year's budget at a work session scheduled for 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday. The work session will be held in council chambers, Vern Miller Civic Center, 555 Liberty St. SE.

The council will not have a regular meeting this week, but a nonpublic executive session will be held after Monday's work session. City council's next scheduled meeting is Nov. 24.
